SANCOLD Young Person’s Forum Webinar Series – Call for Presenters

The SANCOLD Young Person’s Forum (YPF) is inviting professionals, researchers, and students in the dam and water community to present a topic of their choosing as part of the SANCOLD YPF Webinar Series.

These webinars serve as an accessible and collaborative platform for sharing knowledge, case studies, and innovations in dam engineering, water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental management. Each session is designed to promote discussion and professional development within the broader SANCOLD community.

🗓️ Webinars are hosted every 4 weeks, and the first available date for 2026 is 21 January 2026.

Presenter Guidelines

  • Topics must be relevant to SANCOLD’s areas of interest and aligned with the presenter’s expertise.
  • Each webinar must have a minimum presentation length of 1 hour (shorter sessions are not permitted).
  • The maximum presentation time is 1 hour and 15 minutes, including multiple presenters on the same topic.
  • A 5–10 minute Q&A session will follow each presentation.

By participating, presenters contribute to strengthening professional capacity, encouraging collaboration, and supporting the continued growth of the South African dam engineering community.
